Hey im puttin a throttle bracket assembly and all on my truck i got it mounted but need to know if the bell spring (the tight spring on the part that rotates that the connecting rod and throttle cablehook to) is it supost to be tight ? or what ? im not sure if mie is hooked up right. thanks!

yep should be tight. hook it to the throttle lever and to the bracket for it that resides under the 10mm injection pump hold down bolt.

ill probably have to go look at somebodys but itd be great if i could see it on here so i could go home afterwork and fix it. cuz i aint sure how its supost to be hooked up. Its on the 12 valve i put in my 99 F-250.

Hey thanks for that picture, but i still dont know if the part on mine behind the TPS is supost to be loose as it is. without the other 2 springs hooked on it can just kinda flop back and forth there and seems to me have no purpose. I can twist the springs assembly to a point that it stops and then keep twistin it and it have tension on it, but at that point the throttle rod and throttle cable would not hook up right on it. I know this might be hard to understand but its hard to explain. Anybody out there know what im talkig about?

Well nobody know ? I cranked my truck today thing dang near ran away. I was just happy it cranked cuz i think maybe i have my starter fixxed. i shut it off pretty quick , reckon i gotta adjust the throttle rod. Im still tryin to find out what ive got wrong on the bell tension spring. I dont think it can be right and i aint had a chance to check anybody elses out. But if anybody knows what im talking about and can explain how it is supost to be let me know.
