2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission HELP - interior part needed

I have a 98 extended cab. In the 98, it has the large drop down cup holder in the center of the dash. When you drop it down, there is a black piece that is hinged, which holds the cup holder in place. Where the black hinged piece attaches to the holder, it broke. I went to dodge to get a new one and they sell only the whole thing, holder and all. We are talkin $90. I do not need the whole thing.



Can anyone suggest where I can get just the piece that needs replaced. My interior color is gray.

It looks like a repairable part to me. . unless you fell a tree on it, and it,s broken in 87 peices. . If you're interested, I would be happy to take a look at it. . You don't have much to lose...

Did you ever figure out what to do about the broken piece on the cup holder. Mine broke the other day too. Yea $90 plus tax for the whole cup holder. That is a lot for a under engineered piece of plastic which will break again!!!



The stealer told me they sell a lot of them!



I think Dodge should replace them for FREE!
