HELP!! New TPS, problems still there

Just installed a new TPS from cummins and i thought it would solve the dropping in and out of lockup problems but it still does it. It is not as bad but i cannot stand to drive it. Sometimes it will downshift all the way to 3rd gear. I have run out of ideas. Mabey you guys have some Where else do i look? I am calling Bill K now.

If it drops down into third, I would suspect a faulty temp sending unit. Mine went bad on my 94 on the way to the Texas Rally in September. $26 at the Dodge dealership for mine. Took 5 mins. to change and fixed the problem.

Thanks Curtis, That is apparantly what it is i bypassed the sending unit with a 7. 5k ohms resister and the problem went away, mabey i didnt need the TPS but ohwell. I will get the temp sending unit and hope that solves the problem for good
