OK - I had a problem with my fan only working on high. Thanks to folks here I replaced the resistor and that solved the problem. I had originally replaced the combined heater/fan/temp switch and that didn't do anything.

Well as you probablu know there is a vacumn hookup to the back of the selector switch. Today I was replacing the new switch with the old one and all of a sudden the air will only come out the defrosters. I replaced the switch and no dice - only coming out the deforosters. How can I fix this. I took the vacumn assembly off and disconnected it ubder the dash and blew air through teh tubes to be sure they were working..... but I am stumped.....

The same thing happened to me yesterday. The line on the vacuum pump is real easy to pull out and when I changed the fuel filter I must have pulled it loose, so I pushed it back in and everything worked fine.

Maybe you could have pulled it loose there or somewhere else?? Hope this helps

What CC said, mine has 'come off' twice. My fault both times, installing the lines to hook up the fuel press. sender and plugging in the data link for the Edge drag comp. . The vac. line is kind of beside and below the injector pump. Very obvious when I looked. Just pushed it back into the connector and no more problems. Hope this helps.
