Archived Help p0602 and p1693 codes?

Truck isn't running right at all, all i got are these two codes. what do they mean?

P0602 (M) ECM Fueling Calibration Error ECM Internal fault condition detected.



The other code (1693) is a companion code that just tells you there is a code stored in the ECM, i. e. , P0602

1693 is a code that means you have another code elsewhere. I'll have get my book to look up the other one. Maybe someone will answer before I can get back to you.

Is your fuel guage working? Have you filled up just before getting the 0602? If so make sure the fuel cap is tightened down until it clicks several times

I know what the code is i just don't know what it means. No it has done it several times and yes the fuel gauge works and the cap is tight.

Check all the connectors at the ECM. If it is an intermittent sort of thing, could be loose or poor connections.

well I clear the codes then it's back again 2-3 days later
