do it rite go thru the roof with a wilson 5000 or a hustler antenna

That's exactly what I did on my '01 with my Wilson 1000. I pulled the headliner out and drilled a hole in the center of the roof for the mount,which looks alot nicer than having coax cable rubbing and scratching the paint on the roof,plus my SWR's are excellent.
