I'm going to start my search for a Horton fan for my '93. Can someone help me with part #?
My shopping list includes - fan, wiring harness, and clutch.
Am I missing anything?
Any leads on where to start looking?

I guess I am the lucky one! I have a brand new Horton Kit that I just ordered on the way. It should be here next week!

As you all probably want to know, I called Horton regarding the set up and the place Horton told me to call was Turbo Auto Diesel at in Phoenix, phone 602-272-5311. Was told clutch $474, blade $273 and partial wireing harness $78. As I was told it is almost a compleate kit, I got one for the crew. I will see in a few days how it looks.

As for the blade and wiring harness, you are correct. That is no longer made by Horton, Turbo Auto Diesel is making those from scratch so there are available again.

Now about this Holy Grail thing, do I get point for finding the Holy Grail? Is there a reward? Do I even get a few HP points thrown at me? Oo. :D:rolleyes:

My kit came with a complete set of instructions for a 2nd Gen and a wiring harness for a 1st Gen. I've sent out several copies to interested parties along with my notes on differences and how I made the final istallation. If you need a copy of just PM me with your address and I will send you a copy - it's about 20 pages long and includes a wiring diagram.

The fan that I have was originally on dads '96. I reused his wiring harness, however I can't get the fan to come on when the A/C runs. I bought the right fitting for R-12 since dads '96 was R-134, but I don't know what the problem is. Bob would you please send me the installation instructions? I'm curious as to where the two harness's differ. Robert, good find on the new fan. Great news since all that I've heard is that they are all gone. You're going to love the fan, it really blows. :-laf

For anyone who is also wanting, you can print off the technical schematics of the Horton clutch for the Rams at lit order form go into the order center then just type in EC450 in the search area and all of them are there for free.

In saying that, they do not have the wonderful notes that Bob ads by hand! Oo.

Thanks again for my copy Bob! :)

I also have received my Grail, and it looks REALLY good!

For those that want to know what it was like, I opened the box, the Grail was exposed, and then the entire room filled with light and pure happiness... . :D
