I have been "PM'ed" a number of times about running hotshot and what type of loads I carry. I run mostly oilfield hotshot so it is mostly pipe and different tools for rigs ect. I finally have some pics of the more unusual things I haul in my gallery. Almost all I do is pulling that trailer. In six and a half months I've put on 66,000+ miles with very few problems. That's why I got a Dodge and the Cummins. Pretty tough combo.

GVW

EB,

What's the highest GVW you hauled with that rig? Just curious, I know some of that oil equipment gets up there in weight pretty fast.

Your trailer looks similar to mine. Mine weighs 7k empty and is a home built. I thought we had overbuilt it but most of the commercial built trailers with tadem axle duals seem to weigh close to that.

Thanks... Doug

That's what my trailer weighs. My combo GW is 38,500, 14,500 on the truck and 24,000 on the trailer. Doubt I have ever gotten over the combo GW but have gotten over on the trailer several times when the drilling is over and they want you to haul off the tools. They just keep adding and adding till you just can't stand it anymore. If I'm not going far, I'll go over on the trailer but really watch my following distance. If I have to go a long ways, I try to keep it legal.

Nice looking work RIG.

Have you hit any deer with your new grill yet?

Your Bed makes the truck probably the shortest RAM 3500 I have ever seen.

:p :p :p
