For a few weeks now I've been talking about how I was wanting to get 4" exhaust for my rig. Well, today is my birthday, and I opened my b-day cards, and the one from my mother-in-law had a check in it to cover the purchase price. Talk about a surprise. She's the coolest!

You are one lucky guy. Mine is an old dragon! No kidding... she breathes fire and poots out the bones of everybody she has chewed up that day.

Sadly, she was diagnosed with cancer last year and probably only has another year to live, but she is still just as mean as ever!

That's cool !!!

Mine's so cool, I named a gauge after her  . It's a inside, or should I say outside, joke.

Mine is 83 now and I couldn't have gotten a better one. She has traveled 250 miles each year to see my kids on their first day of school. She has done this for 20 years! She used to take the train but now we meet her in Santa Barbara with her other daughter bringing her up from LA.

Five years ago, on my wife and my 20th wedding anniversary, She came up (at 78 yrs old) and watched our two girls for a week while we went to Las Vegas.

I wouldn't dream of asking MY mom!

She raised my wife and her sister on her own (divorced) when the child support laws were little to non existant.

My kids call her AYAH and so do we.

Maybe I'd better not say it... ... ... ... ... ..... :D

(but the old 1950's song "Mother-In-Law" quite appropriately describes her)

Mine helps me build things. She helped me frame my barn. She even lets me borrow her table saw! She can drive a truck and back a trailer and we've even taken her on 5 hour horse back rides in the mountains. She loves every minute of it. All that and she can cook like you wouldn't believe. I'm pretty lucky too. My folks get along with the in-laws real well, in fact they are out traveling together in their motor homes right now.
