How Do You Keep An Idiot Busy?

I need to find some ways to keep an idiot busy so I don't have to spend my day entertaining him. Got any ideas on how to do that?

find a railroad track near you (perferably abandoned---unless you want to kill the idiot too. ) and have him count all the nuts, bolts, fishplates, spikes/clips, ties, tieplates and rails per mile of track for however long you need to keep him out of your hair. you figure it out... . 5 miles, 10 miles, 100 miles.

Reminds me of a guy we had working for us last summer. Alright guy, tried hard, but the credit ends there. I made a comment about him not being the brightest bulb in the chandelier, and my partner said "more light a black out. "



I like the endless loop.



Have him count the number of steps in a mile.

Walking, jogging, and running. With any luck, he'll be worn out after the third mile, and sleep the rest of the day.



Have him sit at a busy intersection (out of traffic, preferrably, though it IS up to you) and keep track of all the cars that go by. Color, type, number of doors- nothing complicated.



Have him count the number of treads in your spare tire, but he cant mark the starting point. With luck, he'll be at that all day. THem make him walk, jog, and run.



Take him to Ebay, type in a basic word in the search feature (car, antique, truck, etc), and have him sort out the results

Doc, would the idiot in question happen to be your son-in-law? If so, buy a pack of sandpaper, and have him sand the chassis of your travel trailer so you can paint it. (Don't leave the paint where he can find it! )

Keeping Idiot Busy

Send him over to my house and have him sort all the coffee cans full of nuts, bolts and screws. If that doesn't keep him busy for awhile then the wife can put him to work sewing socks
