Good evening, Gentlemens. Both trucks ordered in Sep are now complete, and apparently on their journey from Mexico. We ordered the 3500 Limited Longhorn for C. Carpenter, including the Longhorn Level I equipment group. I am now concerned the the Longhorn window sticker makes no mention of the deployable side steps, when this was and is promoted as one of the components of the Level I equipment group. Any thoughts on this? First Husband still has no idea about his surprise. C. Carpenter presses me to tell him, but that is only because he is so terribly impatient. FH would overanalyze the whole thing (of course I have not done this!) and take all the fun out of it. Let his keep thinking he is getting leather pants. No idear where that came from!

Well he probably feels he needs protection for toes of those Stilettos!

It does not show on my sticker either but they are there and they are awesome. At least for me they lower to just the right height for me. Old truck steps were just a few inches lower than the door and while they certainly worked it was not anywhere near a natural step going in or out

Wait and see what happens is totally inconsistent with going to a lot of trouble and expense to special order a truck with the understanding that is will be manufactured per the specifications. Wait and see? Not my style.

To be honest your choices are wait and see or forfeit your deposit. If you wait and it shows up different from what you ordered you can get your deposit back. If it’s correct you buy it. But if you back out now then you just forfeit the deposit. You will not be able to modify the order at this point.

But as @BarryG said, your probably fine.

I don't agree. The power running boards were an element of the specifications as set forth in the agreement. The dealer can put them on, and I would compel them to do so. Basic UCC sale of goods. Regardless, since they are still shown as an element of the Level I package, and also in view of BarryG's comments, I am optimistic that they are indeed on the truck, just did not make it to the window sticker. It would seem odd that the PRB would not be standard on such a nice truck. I agree they are awesome. We have the tubie ones now on FH's NOHO, and I always fear my foot will slip over the edge.

Since the Longhorn trim is now a submodel of the Limited Trim and not the Laramie Trim like it used to be, likely they are included as powered steps are standard on Limited Trim, so it only makes sense they'd be standard on the Limited Longhorn.. Check your window sticker under STANDARD EQUIPMENT / EXTERIOR FEATURES.

As was said, at this point I'd wait to see it and decide, can always be added at the dealer level if not there, I have the B&W hitch and I kinda like not having the other 4 holes in my bed the OEM goose neck hitch requires

Good evening! Well, today Crybaby Carpenter (C. Carpenter) and I dropped the bomb on First Husband (FH), informing him about his new Limited that I ordered in secret back in September. How did he react, you ask? Basically exactly the same as when he asked me to marry him. That boy ain't right, tell you what. His disposition gradually improved throughout the day, and by evening, he actually seemed excite about it. He was smiling alot, telling me how upset he was. Really confusing. Isn't in terrible, that his tall gorgeous brunette First Wife bought him the most powerful rig in its class LOADED with everything...just terrible? Boo-iss Hoo-iss. You can see why I kept it secret? Both trucks (CC's and FH's) are at the local railyard, will make it to the dealer in a couple weeks, we hope. Can't imagine that Grand Rapids, MI is in high season in mid January. We are in Dallas, so the journey will be fun. Who knew?
