2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission How much power steering fluid needed to flush and change?

I posted about the temporary loss of power steering and brake boost on a '02, 3500. Thanks for the threads on cleaning the screen and such. So how much synthetic power steering fluid do I need to do a good flush and refill? Royal Purple is available to me at my NAPA. Is it acceptable?

I would have 3 quarts on Han and many have had good success with rp on 3rd gens not sure about the 2nds

I found a shop near by that can get the Redline full synthetic PS fluid in quarts. I ordered 3.

Second question, how much oil dry? I needed more than I thought when I did steering hoses on my 97.
