How to check on build status?

We are dealing with a new dealer and they come up a little short. They have gave me a vin # but they can't seem to find a build date. This is for an order that was made at least 6 weeks back for an 04. Any info greatly appreciated on another way to check it out on the web.

I've been stirring around about the same thing for a truck ordered about 2 weeks ago and sounds like a strike out.

The dealer was able to tell me a VIN and a build time of 2nd week in OCT.

Anyone know how to track if it's coming by Ship? I was told after my order is built it will come via ship from Veracruz, MX to the Port of Baltimore.
