Multiple codes all of the sudden

Point is on every other truck I have owned TPMS was not an issue. I run a modified vehicle and my tire selection is severely limited due to Fiat's policy on this. Other issues such as around here DFW 2 weeks minimum to have work done due to some codes mine throws. They are intermittent and only throw after several hours of high speed highway use. They reset or I will remove them -- DEF/Particulate filter related for the most part.

LOVE The Truck but just not worth the hassle for another one.

I could break into the PCM and do lots of changes to the Programming including the TPMS but I drive mine in areas 25 miles from the nearest fuel station at the ranch and reliability is more important at this stage of the game for me.

No it isn't! You can run any tire you want.....you'll just have a light on your dash.
Even with the stock tires and not being loaded you shouldn't run the pressure that the EVIC says you should run........oh and to save 4x4x4 the effort.......there is a work around.

Understand about the light.... Know all about the codes required from the Dealer (they want to charge me for them--3 different Dealers) and the equipment some have to change this. Thought about it myself but just not worth it for the next 18 or so months to change before it is time for the next truck. Maybe sooner putting 6k a month on it right now having to travel to the ranch and back.

OK, so I dropped the pressure on all 4 to 55 Lbs to see how it rode and to see how annoying the light is... Ride is much better although it still oscillates up and down on the freeway.
A small piece of blue painters tape took care of the light and a quick push on the steering wheel controls turns off the pressure icon.. I think I'll live with that for a while before I give a dealer my cash..

That's been my 'solution', run appropriate, generally MUCH lower, psi than suggested/required by the TPMS. When I am loaded, of course I raise the psi to proper levels.

One thing I find interesting is the difference in the TPMS warnings on the 3500 vs. 2500. I understand that the 2500 is the mass market seller, but don't believe that 3500 owners are that much more inherently aware or disciplined about adjusting psi than the average 2500 owner (or average American driver). If liability is such a great concern it would seem they'd require maximum psi on all heavy-duty, light-duty trucks.

Done! Thanks to 4x4x4door my TPMS is now functioning in a way that I can use it. No electrical tape, no changing the screen every time I start my truck. Highly recommend doing this, it's kind of fun taking a bit back from da man!

I really appreciate the time that Tracy and the others put into figuring this out and for making the Autel available. Well worth it!

Nice!

Did you buy the tool yourself to make it happen?

Go to the Parts Counter, my local dealer was a piece of cake. In fact I need to stop by and show him, he didn't believe it could be done! Might result in a bunch of business for 4x4x4door!

Yep, I went to the parts counter as the first posts says, and had zero problems.

I'm (only) slightly concerned about sharing how this is done publicly/in print, thinking that it could hasten its disappearance. However, I think that is unlikely, if the ability to fix the psi nanny goes away, it will probably be for some other reason.

Heck, it's already all over the internet on forums, can't get much more public than that.

That is what happened to the factory tool.Too many public post on the c forum so FCA pulled the option out of witech

I purchased a AEV Procal device for my truck to correct the speedo for my oversized tires and after talking to my dealership,
they are going to reset my rfh for me. All I have to do is program the threshold for the tpms. Of course it's not for free:), but 75 dollars is not too bad. As it turns out, which I assumed anyways, is they deal in AEV accessories and have a truck on the lot loaded up. Price on the sticker is 90k.
