Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Howling sounds?

Normal driving I never really get hard on it but the other day i did and noticed a howling or whiseling sound when i was on it hard. May have lost 100 lbs of boost at the gauge is hard to tell on these gauges. Truck still runs hard. 1999 275 rv edge boost elbow DTT i,m thinking i have a inter cooler hose leak somewhere? What do you think?

doubt you lost 100lbs of boost but if you have a leak check your whole air path boot clamps slip off boots tear. the bottom boots going into the intercooler and going out. can have a rub issue on the inner fender lip. also check around your air horn. check this first usally this can be the culprit.

Sorry I meant 1 lbs. of boost What was I thinking. Thanks for the reply. Normally29 now maybe 28 ??
