Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Well Guys, I did it. I took my truck in yesterday and had the following Mods done. 16cm2 turbo, BD performance injectors, BD 3 1/2 inch exhaust, pump turned up and timed and a valve adjustment. Now was it worth it? Well the saying goes, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like it. Response is improved over stock, at all speeds. It drives more like a gas V8 now. No real lag. I don't know what the top speed is yet, I took it out on the interstate this morning but there was to much traffic to open it all the way up. At 80-85 mph which was my top speed before, I now have throttle response and see the speedo needle start to climb. Before, there was nothing at that speed. The engine at highway speeds actually seems quieter to me. Concerning the other post on straight thru exhaust mine has a nice sound to it kind of mellow not loud. I have a mandrel bent bypass around the transfer case that is real smooth. Came with the BD exhaust kit. When I pull into the garage and shutdown I hear the turbo winding down, never did before. So, for the morning after, I have a smile on my face. Much better driveability and no regrets.
