There are plenty of aftermarket doors out there. Do a google search. There are also plenty in junk yards across the country. When all those are gone I will consider making more. If I do it will be costly !

Hi,

Not sure if this is the place for this but here goes. I am looking for a suspension bumper for my 1991 Dodge D250 which seems to be discontinued. The part number is Delco 45G1007 and Rock Auto lists it as the lower suspension bumper. Anybody have any ideas on a substitute or a source?

Thanks,
John

I was at CARQUEST today and the parts guy swears that he can get this part. I am letting him try. It should be in Tuesday July 9th......

Would anyone happen to have a Getrag 360 1-2 synchro ASSEMBLY? Can't find anyone who has them in stock since they've discontinued it.

I am looking for the interior plastic pieces that surround the headliner. Most of mine are damaged with the windshield and rear window pieces being the worst. Are there new designs of these parts? Seems the ABS they used was extremely poor quality.

How about the plastic trim for around the doors and glass ? Think it was you that was talking about possibly doing those pieces in aluminum a few years back, wasn't it ?
Yes it was me. I got quotes on the dies to stamp them out of aluminum . It was in my opinion not cost effective . The demand would not be high enough to make the investment worth while. The other side of it is that I am old . I have been vary sick the past few years. I doubt I will be around much longer. I already have enough parts stashed to last me for whats left of my life.

Not a good year, but happy to hear from the guy that convinced me to rebuild my Getrag about 200k ago... Original synchros and clutch from factory, since I was broke when it went out!

Sorry to hear that MM. hang in there !!

I'm in search of front fender flares for both sides. I have a 93 D250 still has the plastic tabs on the fender, the previous owner just removed them and never put them back on. any idea where I can find a pair for a reasonable price is appreciated

I’m in need of a speedo/odo for my 92 w250.

Paul

If it is just because the Odometer has quit working you can save that gauge!

It is kind of a pain to fix (the worst part of the job is getting the gauge out and back in which you have to do anyway) but the gears break in the odometer so they stop working. If that is your problem you can repair it with new gears.

Hi all, I have most ALL 1st gen parts new or used. If I don't have it. I can reverse engineer it and make it in house or have it produced .. It is just a matter of how many and how much. I have many parts that were only offered to the fleets . Never to the public. I have redesigned many of the "problem parts" to be more reliable and last longer than the orginials. I DO NOT MAKE RACE CAR PARTS. No need to ask how to make 1000 hp or do 10 second quarter mile runs. Most on the site know me. I am a retired Chrysler engineer. I worked on the original Cummins/Dodge truck development project that started back in 1983.
Is there a phone number I can reach you at?

The company that made them the last is in Italy . They are a top notch manufacturer ! They have a minimum order of 500 pieces + setup charges. I can get them quoted but It is going to be real expensive ! I have no interest in having that much money sitting on the shelf and neither does the rest of the transmission parts houses ! I will get them made if you tdr members come up with the money first . I might be able to get the min. quantity down or get a few of the parts houses to pitch in and buy some for their inventory . I have enough of these to last me the rest of my life . I only have a few years left.
