Vaughn--tapping into the overflow off of the tank fill is relatively easy for a separate return-the overflow turns into a 3/4" od rubber line and -08 hose will slip into it along with a socketless -08 fitting which slips into the -08 hose & can be attached to a 1/2" brass tee and this won't jeopardize the VP44(you need two -08 socketless fittings, the tee, 6" pc of -08 hose and 2 clamps and then whatever you decide to do from the regulator to the tee is your own decision--but if you go socketless it's much easier-as we all know--but you'll need on more -08 socketless fitting to attach your return to the tee--this is the easiest way to do it IMHO--
Now that MM has shown us what the tank head looks like(MM we need to know what fitting will work in that extra port), why not use that extra port and use a wye,-06/-06/-08(if we can find one) to feed our pumps(-06 line from OEM port & -06 line from new port into the wye/tee and then -08 out to the prefilter and -08 to the pump & so on), otherwise we could use a tee(wye would be a lot less restrictive)--BRANDON can you find this animal--I think you'll want to add a pre-pump filter since this extra port has no filter on it, but maybe we don't have to, any comments---chris
