Competition I raced. Geuss who won??

I was sitting at a red light. Along came a another Dodge pickup truck. A 1/2 ton gasser v8. He had it jacked up with big goodyear tires. A gen 2 style no hemi.

The light turns green. He gets a good hole shot. I go for 3rd gear and loose traction big time. But gaining on him fast. I go for 4th gear. He gets a head some more. I get it in 4th gear and punch it about 1/2 way. I blow by him like a raped bull. I was slipping the clutch pretty good. Wish I could give her all she's got. All I saw was his head light in my rear view. I made my point. So I backed it down to the limit. So did he like nothing ever happened. This all took place in Minnetonka on hyw 7 going west.

Nice one Jeff. I ran a Hemi on 169 going to work (who wants to race at 5:45am?) I didn't realize we were racing till I heard that little Hemi screaming. Then I put it down and walked away laughing. Silly Gassers, real trucks run Diesel!

Small Game

Racing these poor gasser trucks with our CTD's is like hunting squrrels wit a 30-06. I dont even find it fun anymore. LOL. . Ive been going after the big game lately, Vettes, maros, mustangs, etc. . So far I've had trouble only once, A d*#* Z06 vette got me by about a car and a half, But the Bottle was empty.
