don , that was a well said and to the point response , much appreciated .

ronsram , i noticed that in your last 4 responses you forgot to add your sig line that is a personal shot at Bill Konodalay ... are you slipping ?????

i see that you posted not being happy with DTT , as far as i know their product never graced the inside of your transmission . am i wrong ????

as far as whats in a full blown DTT trans , call bill and ask him yourself .

as far as your MOB comment , i'm a proud flag waving member of that MOB , you being a member of a different MOB and as it seems to me , self appointed DTT basher... .

CC i hope you are putting lots of water on that bridge you turned to ashes :-laf

"Due to your mud slinging against that company it does not leave many doors open for you since you have just also closed this one with ATS. "

That's gonna leave a bruise.

Maybe we can use this breather to try a dial back the slams, negative digs and the personal attacks. :-{}

I mean... dang! This is starting to look like the War of Northern Aggression all over again!

OUCH!!! Very blunt but very classy post don.

Chris, in the building trades (my business), word travels quickly of people like yourself who simply CANNOT be satisfied despite the best efforts of honest hardworking people like Bill k and company, who will bendover backwards to make people happy. To people like them, honor and reputation are paramount to everything else, including money. Sooner or later, usually sooner, people like you who would rather tell people how to do their jobs than listen to what they have to say, will aquire a reputation as someone not to do business with, so as to avoid the inevitable slander. Fortunately don has posted in such a way as to reverse the damage you have done as ats's self appointed spokesperson.

I honestly hope you are happy with whatever you end up with, but I simply don't think it's possible.

I appologize to everyone... ... ... ... . and say good bye. I'm just one of those people who can't communicate very well and now I've gone and made everyone mad. It has been a pleasure to be among you all. Good bye my friends. :)

Chris

Chris, at least promise to posting the results and how satisfied you are, after your switch to the ATS. Will be interesting to hear from somebody who use DTT before the switch, but please be fair. So far I have ATS Tc and very happy with it ( I will add VB and controller next month), but I never drive truck with DTT stuff in . That way I can't judge the products fairly, but you can.

M:cool:

Have a question

A DTT mob??

Does it mean I'm with the Mob when I have... . DieselTrans.com... . on my back window, and if so does it mean I'm in the Piers Mob, cause right beside it is... . PiersDiesel.com... . right smack dab between two 5" TDR stickers(Yep it looks cool). With all this does it mean I have anything against another transmission company..... nope! Does it mean I have anything against another performance vendor..... nope! Just happy with what I have and with those people, I like everyone and have talked to several of them..... thanks guys ? Were will this thread be in a year :p

confusion

If you will forgive my intrusion in this thread I have some quesitons and comments.

I think it is very important to consider the intended use of the vechicle. It has been said already you can't have it all ie. race, street and tow etc. So when you say what is the best, state your purpose and specifically why it works for you.

I tow a TT on pavement. therefore, I don't want a locked shift (my personal preference here).

If I was towing a sled on dirt, then I might want locked shift.

In the article by Earthroamer (sorry I can't remember his name right now)it seemed he was dogging increased pressure. I may be wrong but I believe the ATS full job does increase line pressure. If so, then why is it so bad as a first option (as in the DTT VB).

Yes, I am using DTT products (and pay for them) because for MY application I believe their theory is best for me.

I have no ill will for ATS and wish them well. There is room for everyone. However, I wish everyone promoting a product would be totally upfront about their level of involvement (ie. sponsorship) and state in plain english the facts to help the rest of us make better decisions.

I drove 1300 miles

And I would drive it again... . cummin's corvette

Maybe your temp's are so high because bill put your tran's sending unit in the correct local... sorry your so mad about the dtt stuff but it made me KING of the hill... what will ats give you for the core... I'll take it !

chris , this is no reason to leave . so you opened wide and stuck both your feet down your gullet :p , ok way down your gullet ...

sit down , eat a hearty dose of crow and try to figure out how to fix what you have done .

personally i doubt that DTT is going to do anything for you , but all is not lost , theres still a couple of shops out there i'm sure that will be happy to do business with you ... i hope ...

good luck ...

From what I have read regarding Bill K's level of customer service and satisfaction, I think despite what has transpired, DTT will still do their best to make CC happy if he gives them the chance.

Hey Guys,

Chris has contacted my dad, as with anyone who has ever needed help,he is there for them. I know for those of you that have watched this unfold and the words said about us and our company its products Chris seems to be getting exactly what he deserves. The plain and simple fact remains that if he ever needed help all he had to do was ask.

Perhaps now with no sponsorship in the wings this thing can finally be put in the proper perspective.
