Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injectors and auto

I know it's been discussed before but am curious to see if more recent trail and error has rendered more suggestions. With an auto and stock turbo, who has had what kind of luck with dd2's vs. dd3's. I rarely tow, when I do it's only around 4,000 lbs. The transmission upgrade is in the works so to speak.

TSRAM go for the DD3's and dont even look back as long as the transmission is be upgraded.

I have a DTT trans with DD2's (and a few other things) and it works great!! Altho I wish I had DD3's instead. Anyone wanna trade??

Have heard some in the past say there was little diff. between the 2's and the 3's. Seem s to me that if egt's are controllable, 3's are the way to go. Anyone do any towing with them? EGT's??

I tow a 6500# TT with a stock turbo and DDIIIs. With the comp set on 1x5, I cruise at about 950* pre-turbo.
