I'm about to change my 47RE auto transmission out. I read the spec and then called the Dodge dealer. The dealer said there isn't a check valve listed for my '98 12 valver 47RE and I didn't find it either where the service manual said it's at. Could it be in that brass connector below the oil cooler that is engine mounted on passenger side by the barring hole?
I followed the lines to the front and they connect using some phony snap connectors to rubber lines and on to the cooler. No check valve there anywhere that I can see.
Any advise is appreciated.
