Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Is this a good port for oil sampling?

Looking to add a simple valve for oil sampling, how about the pipe plug to the left of the oil feed line for the turbo? I am guessing 1/8 NPT? Any other suggestions or pics of your setup?

Thanks

Chris

When sampling oil it is a big no no to sample from the drain plug if you want an accurate sample. Sampling from the drain plug results in sample contamination, everthing over the years settles to the bottom of the pan even if you change your oil regularly. Five different oil sampling facilities I have dealt with have all given the same instructions, "dont sample from the drain plug".
