People Never Seem to Amaze Me

What next ?!?!? Got beat by a Ford ...barely

I keep a spreadsheet for fuel usage and maintenance.

2002 figures

Total gallons of fuel: 1,429. 541

Total Miles: 23,789. 6

Total $ for fuel: $2,031. 34

Avg MPG (all driving including towing) 16. 65 mpg

Avg cost of fuel: $1. 42/gal

4 oil changes

1 air filter

2 fuel filter

rear diff fluid changed

replaced lift pump.

I've now got over 68k on the truck. I figure I'll be getting my 100k badge in early 2004.

Way Cool!!!

Rolled over 110k today. I didn't do yearly totals. Stats since 4/25/00:

5602. 2 gallons @ avg cost 131. 2/gal and 18. 1 mpg

6 oil changes, 4 additional filter changes, and 3 rolls of tp

6 fuel filters and 2 sets of tires.

Oo.

The only good thing I can see about my numbers is tax write off. I will post them sometime this weekend. It should be around 22-2300 gallons. Yes, it does add up fast. I would like to see a log for a hot shot driver. :D

you know... that's a good idea... i'm going to start doing that... good thing it's early 03 and i haven't had to fill any of my cars/trucks up... ;)

I always make sure that I fill up on 12/31 (topping off as necessary) so that I have a "real" annual total.

I also try to fill up just before towing, and immediately after I get home. I like to track towiing milage separately from regular commuting.
