It's All Relative

Cold is a relative thing. I routinely wash my truck outdoors in April, wearing short-sleeves and jeans. It doesn't matter if the outside temp is only 42F. It's 60F warmer than it was in March, so I'm pretty happy about it. I've also lived in Utah, where I wouldn't go outside if it was below 10F unless I absolutely had to. First trip to the great sandbox in the middle-east, (1995) I arrived in October. It was -20F when I left home, and 98F (99% humidity) when I arrived. After a month, I was wearing a jacket at night when the temps dipped into the mid 60's. Like I say, it's all relative. It IS pretty cool to throw a bucket of boiling water into the air and not have a drop of it hit the ground though :D. Of course, this only happens below -40F :p.
