Handheld/portable CB?

The Encylcopedia Americana - 1944 Edition

First one in the CTD. I knew the chicks would flock to it! If she asks me to raise the hood, I might hafta marry her.

Winery, rustic park, fancy dinner, then hot tub. SHE brought up the hottub--too bad it's at her Mom's house.

Plenty of driving involved. :D

She's saving the hot tub at her mom's house for last, so she can drown you if you don't meet her and momma's expectations :D It's the newest form of the "Shot Gun Wedding" I believe :)

Doc

PS - What's your relationship with Robert and Robin, Wade?

Man thing's must be better up there in those back wood hill's than it is down here in Texas because the girl's down here pay my truck no mind at all, in fact my last girl Friend use to get mad at me or should I say put me down for keeping my truck so clean and working on it to much. Heck I even let her have the privilege of driving it when ever she want to. Well let's just say she will never get that privilege again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to many people get the privilege to drive it,let's see now a friend of mine who is a Dodge man and a diesel mechanic has drove it a few time's after one of us has been working on it or after we have been Honky Tonkin to much because my job seem's to have control on my social life and Piers Harry has drove it and Okie-Go has drove it once------- Go ahead Okie------- Tell them about.

None to speak of, but if we did the genealogy thing, we might be 32nd cousins.

OH and the DATE went well. No drownings or shotguns. :p and she LIKES the truck--says it's SUPPOSED to be noisy (I didn't tell her that I made it more noisy) and that she almost bought that VW diesel thing. Could be a sign.

My girls dad has a 97 or 98 12v 4x4 3500. I have a 24v. Guess who DOES want that VW Jetta Diesel without ANY coxing?:D

Andrew

I too was hoping that my new would attract the women. Certainly has not done that yet. :{ :{ Must be a New England problem. I know when I was down in Nashville last weekend women seemed to be much more interested in trucks and some of my other interests such as Country Music. Definately can't find that in New England After the trip to Nashville I guess I will have to consider relocating. What a great area.

Wade, based on my vast experience with women, I think this lady likes you. You better watch out she sounds like a smart one. :D

Here in the NW, you see a LOT of women driving CTD's, with horses in a trailer out back. Some of them are barely 16 or 17.

Of course, some of them are 65, too :)

Of course, a woman with a horse, is like a kid with a GameBoy... You're never going to get thier attention until the horse is gone. Never marry a woman with a horse, either, unless you are independently wealthy.

Marry her, and you'll need a 2003 Crew Cab CTD, 36 foot Gooseneck horse trailer w/sleeper, barn, pasture, corral, haystack a mile high just for HER.

If you wanna drive one to and from work, while she's hauling the horse around, you'll have to have 2 CTD's.

Oh, the horse will cost you roughly double the payments on that truck, after you count the cost of the Vet, the breeder, the food, the medicine, the tack, the fuel to haul it EVERYWHERE, the boarding for the 4 days of vacation you'll get a year, not to mention replacing it, doing the same for MORE Of them, should it multiply on you, and the medical and lawyer bills when it decides it's tired of the neighbor kid sneaking over for a ride.

Oh, did I mention it's probably wise to be very careful of any woman that likes your CTD? She might just be wanting it for her horse... :)

Which reminds me, I prostrated myself on the ground and thanked God profusely the day my wife found out, and the day my oldest son found out they are both allergic to horses.

I've known some "horse women" before... your insight is brilliant!

ROFLMMFAO!!!:-laf :-laf :-laf

Mom has a dozen horses and 50-odd cattle. I limit myself to the American Wild Turkey and Whitetail Deer for stock. Don't fence, feed, or fix 'em. Just shoot and eat!

And to return to the thread---she don't have no stinkin' horses and she paid me a visit today, and we're going out again. Darn my luck. :p;)

I have never been to Texas. It is one of the next places that i would like to visit. It sounds like it could be promising. :D :D

If you are thinking about moving to Texas you might want to live in California for a while before you move to Texas, that way you will be use to the future next California--------------Texas. This state is becoming more and more like California every day. I believe some where in the Blue Ridge Mountain State's or Montana or Wyoming might be better???????????????????????

Oh and by the way Andrew, just how many -----" SINGLE "----- FEMALE ----- TDR member's are there in the State of Texas----- let's see now there is DCL and rumor has it Dieselgirl. Have I missed anyone or are there more? Inquiring minds want to know???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

TN is filling up quickly too. There are some nice quiet crevices in WV, but it's awfully close to some really busy areas. I'll be going to MT, WO, or ID if I relocate. Give me a state with mountains and only one area code.

You need to take a look at SW Missouri. You have the Ozark mountains, All of the lakes you would ever want. The largest city is Springfield (about 100,000) with KC Missouri and St. Louis over 3 hours away. It also has one of the lowest costs of living in the country. The only problem is that it is not very culturally diverse, just a bunch of WASP's like 98 plus %. :D

Power Wagon, where were you TEN years ago???

Here I am, ten years ago hadn't really ever ridden a horse, now I have 20 acres which I had to fence, barn I had to build, 4 horses, trailer, flat-bed trailer for hauling hay. I haul all the hay (because the bails are too heavy for her and she's allergic to alphalpha) no no, allergies don't stop her. 11 tons hauled so far, 8 more to go at $150/ton. I do most of the feeding and when we plan a day ride, it's me who gets up at 4:00 am to feed them and pack the trailer. When we do go on vacations, it's always really short because it's a real PITA to have someone else feed. And the whole road trip is spent looking out the window at other horses along the road. Don't get me wrong, I've grown to love the horses, but sometimes I wonder where I'd be w/o them.

I have to agree, if you're looking for the right girl, don't go after one who is a horse freak if you're not already one yourself.

Love ya honey!!
