Mom has a dozen horses and 50-odd cattle. I limit myself to the American Wild Turkey and Whitetail Deer for stock. Don't fence, feed, or fix 'em. Just shoot and eat!
And to return to the thread---she don't have no stinkin' horses and she paid me a visit today, and we're going out again. Darn my luck.![]()

The wife called yesterday from Greenbrier TN, she took her mother to a family reunion (I'm still trying to figure out why it's in TN... AFAIK, there's only one family member that lives there, the rest are somewhere else - many in the PNW) and she happened to mention the weather. 95 degrees and 90% humidity...
She did mention that it had cooled off on Sunday.
That kinda stuff would be near-fatal for me. It may get to 105 here, but when it does the humidity is 10-20%...
