Good morning ,all TDR Brothers . This morning is going to be a good day! By the way thank you Pete ,I felt better after your words of wisdom! Phoned this morning at 8. 27 am ,to find out that my new truck is a KZM code builded in the middle of the week? Probably don't mean anything any more! It is sitting in the yard , I will keep my fingers cross, that they will be no major storms while it will be making the long trip across the USA , than to Ontario CAN. to come back all the way to the Beautifull Vancouver Island. Fishing is going to be Good this year. My C-Dory ( 22' crusier ) build in the USA , is going to love being pull behind this awsome truck! the boat name is SEARAM . Gary

U P D A T E: Happy days

Sorry I wanted to update you all earlier but I have simply been having way to much fun. As expected based on my entire experience with Adam Macomber of Dishman Dodge my transaction was flawless as is my new Mega Cab. I'll go into greater detail when I return home (Break in, mileage and travelog, etc. ) As someone way smarter than I said a long time ago a picture is worth a thousand words... so as is my custom I'll choose the nuclear option and post three!

1. Is Adam pulling up to the curb at the Spokane airport sign in hand, picking me up in my new truck.

2. Me thanking him for the unparalled attention he gave me throughout this transaction.

3. The sweatest truck I ever imagined @ the unbelievable price of $5,500 under FWP/INvoice.

Pete

Nice truck, congrats. I know it was awesome to pick my truck up after it first rolled into Lou Fusz Dodge. Adam M sounds like a great guy to deal with. Can't wait to here how your truck performed on the ride home. Scotty

Great looking truck Pete ;) I really like the Mineral Gray color. My truck is in Arkansas this morning scheduled to be into Illinois by tomorrow morning.

I am curious about the High Idle... were the techs able to enable it on your truck?

Thanks for posting your Adam Event at Spokane, WA. The pictures are great, too.

I have reposted some of my pictures just so TDR Members can see that Adam can repeat this money saving event time and time again.

New Mirrors

Mel:

What type of mirrors are on your truck? Are they the new trailer tow mirrors or the standard mirrors?

Yes these are the new extendable (manual slideout) heated, electric controlled, large (?5" X 10" ?) mirrors. I just dug up some of Adam's lets make a deal, paperwork. They were $449. 00 uninstalled. The MOPAR part number maybe 82209293.

And, yes I do like them. They provide a large clear non-distorted field of vision to the side and rear. I am keeping the original mirrors on the shelf, just in case I scrape off one of the new ones.

Here is another view of the same mirrors.

Mel can confirm for sure but I believe those mirrors are a Mopar accessory not available from the factory on our trucks. I see very few 2500 or 3500's with the stock mirrors, most have the optional towing mirrors (option GPG). I am pretty sure the mirrors on Mike's truck https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=181010&page=2 and Pet's truck in this thread are the optional trailer towing mirrors.

I thought they might be a revision of the trailer tow mirrors on the new truck. I appreciate the clarification and thanks TKeeler for the additional details of the Mopar accessory. I was able to find them at the mopar.com site.

Thanks!

Brad, they're also available from this sites sponsor Geno's garage...
