Hello all, Just ordered a 2024 Ram Big Horn 2500 long bed New Holland Blue. I placed the order on 19 Dec. Some of the things on the build.

I was at the auto show in San Diego yesterday. To be honest the fullsize pickups weren't getting much attention. I think the days of guys buying $80K+ trucks as showpieces are coming to a close. Enjoy that truck. Guys were fawning over the Tacoma. They have zero headroom. A guy maybe 5'10" max was touching the cab with his head. The Canyons and Rangers were much roomier.

One of the reasons the Tacoma I ordered in 2006 only made it 6 months was how tiny the interior was. The pre-Tacoma pickups had a smaller exterior dimension with a roomier interior.

@ Diesel85 thanks.This will be my 5th one. My first was a 2001 quad cab short bed in 2001-2002 time frame.
@ AH64ID that was a option on the 2023 models. It's no longer one on a 2024. You can get it on a 3500. Just went over yesterday to my Diesel guy and paid for a 60gal tank that was ordered for my(ETA) 2018. It will fit the 2024.

On the 2500’s it depends on the trim level.

We're heading to the dealer this morning to pick up a new 2500 Bighorn. Got too good a deal to pass up. It's a Hemi, but that's what we're trading in also. I have my diesel, but the Hemi is the wife's vehicle. We don't need 2 diesels. Hope your truck treats you well.

That's one reason I've been posting the progress to let people know somewhat the time line of the build. Keep in mind my order was a "low volume paint" in other words Ram had to have 10 orders of that color to start the build. Hoping it will ship faster then what yours did. We will see...

Mine was slow to ship and I’ll never know why. My dads truck was built 2 weeks after mine and shipped 3 weeks before mine.

Latest update today. Also got a text saying to look for around 11 Apr 24. That will be good maybe RAM will be running discounts then. When I ordered the truck they said low 30's for my trade in. I'm hopping for a little better then that and I little more off sticker price. When I ordered the truck there was no contract and no money down. With that being said it's not a done deal, yet..

If it was ordered for you specifically your name will be on the window sticker, vs dealer stock.

Did you agree on a price when you ordered it? If so, that price should be honored even if the sticker price has gone up.
