I had the opportunity to use the KDP jig and want to say, that is the nicest kit that could have been assembled to make the job very easy. I was hesitant but the fear of the pin motivated me to get on the list. The coordinator here in California was very good helping me get my turn at the jig. The fix is straight forward and easy to do; I found the hardest part was getting the stupid fan back up into place after I had lowered it down out of the way! The kit couldn't be better, and many thanks should go to CPFF for his excellent set of tools. If you're hesitant, this is an easy cure for a potential costly repair.

I did the jig fix to my KDP yesterday afternoon. I have to agree it's a wonderful kit and a very easy job.

I would have had it done and all buttoned up in about 2. 5 hours, except that I found my water pump shaft had a bunch of play in it. Though not leaking yet, I figured I'd better replace that pump while everything was apart. About the easiest water pump I've ever replaced!

One suggestion - don't bother with the little water drain valve on the radiator - that thing would take two hours to drain. Just stick a piece of 3/8" fuel hose down in the radiator and siphon it out.

Now the jig is off to Corning, New York this afternoon.

Thanks!!!!
