A few people were wanting to know if I still like my TST box and if I would recommend one still

Well here is a few pictures of the dyno runs I made today,

The best I tried is with the TST on 7/6, and the EZ on level 1 (I did not have enough guts to try more pressure) was 437hp, and 911 ft-lbs

Not too shabby with absolutely nothing more than 2 boxes (not even on KILL), a Boost elbow, open 4inch exhaust, and an AFE intake

Run 4 - tst 7/6 + EZ/1

Run 3 - tst 6/5 + EZ/1

Run 6 - tst 0/0 + EZ/1

Run 2 - tst 0/0 w/ no EZ

Cya'll around!

You're making that kind of power without a pusher pump?

PS- TomeyGun... Looking forward to ordering that truck from you that we've been e-mailing about! Just got to dump my lease! (If anyone wants a 2004 1500 4x4 QC SWB SLT AT w/ Hemi lemme know! $350/mth for another year or so)

Impressive numbers Tom, I bet she was getting abit warm on that load dyno. Can't wait to get to a dyno and see what my little SO can muster :D

Yep, I thought the same thing, But if you notice the 3rd TO the 4th run...

That was one click on the torq setting, from 5 to 6, that should have brought the torq # up to 950-960, but it only mustered up 911, SOOOO that could be a fuel delivery problem or something...

I am VERY surprised that I have had no low fuel pressure "drivability" issues yet...

Thats is the funny thing, I had the egt limiter on 1320* . . And I did not feel it back down, But that could explain the low torq # on run #4... I know, I know, I forgot, What can I say!!! I should have had it on 1500* backdown

If it did not hit 1320*, thats not too bad... of course, Its only a dyno run, not like the street

Yea- the way TST talks on thier site they make you believe that anything over about 5/5 will start to give you fueling problems. Perhaps it's because you have ramped the pressure also thus increasing the amount of fuel available?

Anyway, about the new truck... I sent you an e-mail yesterday with a couple of questions. When you get a chance read it and give me a shout back!

Thanks

Well, this is the big difference, I have an SO, my stock HP is terrible!!!!

Heck, the stock charger can support 350hp, you guys with HOs are only 25-45hp away (simple pressure box) --- ME???? I have a whole 100hp till I max up my stock charger!!!!

I think the SO is way more tunable before you get into trouble, there is ALOT of headroom

SIDENOTE - I was do'in the math ... 7 clicks on the tst at 20hp each... 140hp plus a lvl1 ez (40hp) = 180hp ... My total gain was 241hp... me thinks me likes this stack !!!!!

I think twins are the next step... Even before the pusher pump, I will attempt to use the stock charger first though with the twins

I am running a ht 60 and the stock turbo. It is a hand make kit by mike at ATS. There is no lag what so ever. I have not really pushed it yet for top boost I still have the stock head bolts

just outa curiosity, even though its probably irrelavent when u get to twins! but what kind of mileage are ya'll seeing with the tst and the ez?

Tommy are you running the stock turbo?

Yep, sure am... With a TST boost elbow backed down to make the wastgate open at 30lbs -- of course it goes past that with too much fuel

hard to believe, huh?

Nice numbers. I got an SO to. Good to see the TST/EZ stacked what it's capable of. How bad was it smoking? They don't like smoke in CA and my next mod is an EZ. I can, and have, run my TST up into the 8's with out that bad of problems. I've heard with an EZ stacked it actually cools down some, right?

It was only smoking in the first few seconds, then cleaned up not to bad

It did not hurt EGTs from what I could tell... so thats good...

I think most of the SO's out there can run the TST almost to the max because of the low starting HP, at least that what makes sense in my head
