On the engine side of the injection pump arround the fuel shut off rod is leaking or more like seaping? Has any one had this problem? Whats the best way of fixing it?

As my signature says there has not been any boombing to the pump so should I just git it fixed, buy a new one that's bombed or??

Thanks

You already have a great injection pump, don't change it. I wouldn't attempt to fix it myself, nor would most shops. The usual procedure is to replace the pump with a rebuild and send yours off to be rebuilt. It will be pricey so if the rig is running good and the seep isn't excessive I'd just keep my eye on it. I had a leaky fuel line some years back, which gave a similar indication (wet under pump). I also had to use the manual primer every morning until I fixed the leak because I was loosing my prime. So, as a suggestion, check your lines before you change your pump. #ad
