I was told about 8 weeks for the 5500. This will be my 3rd 5500 so I know about the engines. I'm in no hurry. It's cold as hell here right now.

I can drive my 2018 5500 if I want, it has a switch N go system on it. 12ft dump or flat bed. I just turned it to 1900 miles let week.

I owned a 2009 Ram 4500 with only 305HP and 610 TQ... it'd pull a house all day and at speed. My new Super C RV has Cummins 6.7L 300HP and 660 TQ. OP had the same RV and said it did fine. HO is fine, but cant undersell the other Cummins 6.7Ls.

There is a delay for all brands.
Have a look at this site to see what is expected.
Here is a link to a fleet site, that shows the delays due to some chips not being available...
The site lists all makes of vehicle affected by the chip delays.

zb39, I can't find the thread on this truck, I know I have seen some pictures. Can you re-post the thread or give an update? There is a guy on another forum asking about them on a Ram 5500.

No, that's his 2021. The switch n go was his '18 5500. Thank you, tho
