Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) lift pump

Are the guts of the mechanical lift pump available? Looks like the only parts that could go bad are the two check valve assemblies. This pump quit after 50-60,000 miles. The primer bulb didn't pump anything even with a wide open discharge. The prefilter is intact so I dont think I got too much dirt in the pump check valves.

Replaced the pump with the original and all is now working.



I would like to replace the guts though to make this a spare.

There is supposed to be a rebuild kit for the oem lift pump from Cummins. Don't know the part number but there is one floating around on the site don't know if it is correct.

If you find the correct part number or if Cummins can find it they should be able to tell you what is in it.
