It turns over the same and yes is due for filter. Was not wanting to do is the weather we have been havingSounds like you're losing prime on the injectors. Could be pump from tank not sending fuel to injection pump and injection pump is having to pull fuel to push to injectors. When was the last fuel filter change? Is there any fuel leaking on the ground overnight when parked? On another front, is it turning over as before or slower? You could be fighting an electrical issue. Could be crossover cable, starter, weak batteries or all of the above! Need more info to help.
Follow up to something I thought of. On my previous fill I put a tank of biodiesel !! Is that the problem??
Just went though this. Normal start (sometimes) and then dies. Then long start and then runs okay. A week later, same thing. A week after that really long start. Wondered if I might need to call my wife. A little trouble shooting showed no tank pump running when bumping the key after key off. Intermittent for a little while and then finally dead.I t seems it is taking longer for my 5.9 to start. Once started it seems to run fine. I have to say it seems to be getting poorer mileage, but that may be I dread paying for the next fill up
Thanks
Don
