I have to chime in. I have 20 k km on asset of 275/65/20 and they are holding up really well. I have towed a 15000 lb toy hauler at least half of that and have yet to rotate them. I know, I know. The CT stand for commercial tire so they are a harder compound but they are holding up well. The only slight complaint would be they could be a little better in the snow as I found out today with a foot of snow up here in Vancouver BC. But they have a really blocky tread and look great. I have had a bunch of these trucks through the years and these are holding up the best. To be continued

Is anyone running those Nitto EXO Grapplers AWT that they talked about in the last issue of TDR? I think ill go with either the Nitto's or the Toyo Open Country A/T II, 285/70/17 for the Nitto's or the 285/75/17 in the Toyo's.

I gotta be the bum here. I haven't have good results with the BFG A/T tires, any of their variety. And I've read many complaints that the larger sizes are almost impossible to get balanced. BFG M/T's yes. I would not ever pay for a Firestone tire to replace worn out tires, can't stand them. Michelin's are a great tire but they don't offer aggressive type A/T or even M/T's. I'm trying some of the fairly new Coopers, a hybrid A/T-M/T tire and so far I really like them. Stick with E rated tires.

I have had BFG's on one of my last RAMS and wasn't happy with them, seem to wear fast even though I took care of them. A buddy of mine has the BFG's on his RAM with only 20,000 miles and they aren't doing very well either, but I don't think he has rotated them so that's part his own fault. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the Toyo's over the Nitto's. The Toyo's have a 50,000 mile warranty and Nitto doesn't. I never knew getting tires could be such a had decision. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas

I have cooper maxx. I live in alaska and these do great on the snow. I also have a 5th wheel toy hauler i pull with them as well as a dump trailer. I also drive 60 miles a day to and from work. These tires are great in all conditions. I have had them for almost 2 years and the wear on them are great. These are tough looking like the cooper stt but not as soft as the stt's. My old stt's wore down fast.

Ijust ordered a set of EXO's. 45,000 miles and my 2nd set of tires won't finish the winter. I figured I might as well buy them on this years tax deduction. Time will tell how they wear.

I think they look alot better then the stock tires, filling up those big wheel wells and they fit good with no problems. Even had 3 inches to spare on the garage door.

Those look great! I had that same tire on my 02, well the original AT not the new style and was happy with them.

Really curious about the Nitto EXO, read the review in the latest TDR. Kind of limited sizes for the 20" wheels.

My OE tires aren't going to make it 30k miles. I"m gonna go with Toyo M55's. Always wanted to try them, but never pulled the trigger.

I just installed a set of 295-70-18"Cooper Discover At3 on my 13. I really wanted Toyo's only no one had them in stock. THe local tire shop had been bought out by Mavis and they are dropping quite a few tire lines and Toyo was one of them. The 295's are on back order at least they were when I was calling around. So far these Cooper's seem ok. A bit more noiser than other set's I've had on other trucks in the past. I'm running a 2" leveling kit with stock Big Horn wheels as far as I can tell there would be plenty of clearance if the truck was not lifted. I did have to add a spacer (1/4-20 bolt) to the steering knuckle to prevent the tire from hitting the lower controll arms when making an extream hard turn. It was really a simple project. I just drilled and tapped the steering stop and ran in the bolt. the thickness of the head of the bolt was all that was needed. Many years ago truck had an adjustable steering stop on the knuckle. So far I'm running 65psi air in all 4 tires the ride is comfortable. I did also just install a set of Bilstein shocks (thanks Gieno's) they made the most improvement in ride. My factory shocks were very harsh these new ones make it ride like a very diffrent truck. I'll report back once I've got some miles on these tires about how they hold up. Oh one last thing I also bought a same size tire for the spare. I'm happy to report that the 295's does fit under the bed. A little snug between the wiring harness and the frame rail but it fits.

The Coopers noisier then what other tires you have ran?

I know from riding in a friends Superduty the Toyo AT2's are pretty quiet. My two choices are the Cooper AT3 or the Toyo AT2. I do want quiet . Tire dealer I talked to sells both ,and they like the Cooper over the Toyo, but will sell me either :) .He thinks the Cooper is just as quiet as the Toyo, and the Toyo is quiet enough for me. Coopers are a bit less money then the Toyos.
