I am running Amsoil in my truck and I see alot of guys sampling there oil for extended drains. Amsoil says with there oil and filter you can go 25,000 on an oil change. This would save a pretty penny. If anyone can point me in the right direction as of where to have the oil tested or just info on the subject I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Chris

I get my sample kits from Geno's. I'm thinking of going synthetic, but am having a hard time with the suggested change intervals.

Amsoil sells prepaid sample kits.

when I installed the bypass filter and routed the return to the oil cap I used fitting with a ball valve and a pipe plug to catch a sample while it is idling.
