Great Idea

I noticed the front end pops on my 2002 when I turn it full to the left. I got my wife to turn the wheel and I crawled underneath trying to find the source. It only popped once while I was down there, I think it is coming from the steering gear box. Do you think this will cure the noise? Also, this truck just turned 36k, the gear box was replaced by DC 2k ago. Any word on how far behind Darin is?

Just curious whether anyone has had the chance to try mounting the DSS on a truck with a plow frame yet? In previous posts Boss and Fisher were mentioned; add Meyer to the list for me.

If it fits I'll order one today!

but he did say he didnt like the first batch of shaft bolts that were made.



so he was getting new ones made.

Hi guys,



A bunch of them should be showing up right away.



I want to mention that we had to punch slots over our nice

lasered bolt holes on this first batch. These trucks

apparently vary quite a bit.



The slots are now laser cut too.



We realized we also had to order boxes. You'll see why when

you get 'em. I think unwrapping will take you longer than

installing



We're thinking of powder coating too. (since we hate painting)



Please bear with us for now. 80 or so more going out real soon.

Steering Box Fix!

I stopped by Darins and Marvs today,thought i would pick up my steering bracket but they didnt have any extra,said they might be caught up in a couple more weeks,he said a bunch went out last Monday and a bunch going tomorow and another 50 or so going by next Monday,i will probably get mine next week,i really dont need it right now anyways,was passing thru and thought id stop and check. I would think some of you guys should have them by now or getting them any day,they said they mailed them last monday but i know from experience that the mail between Can. and the US. can be slower than molasses sometimes. I have one on my 94 and it steers like my 2001. 5 now,going to put one on the 2001. 5 so it dont wear the gear box. The spindle shaft in the 94 had about 1/4 inch of slop on the spindle,was all over the road,hard on tires and everything else,goes so straight now i could fall asleep at the wheel. I think Dodge was sleeping when they made this box.

Boy, I guess you told me I didn't mean to stereotype all Canadians you are right it is big corp's(MAGNA). I'm just frustrated and bitter at all the goods I see in this country that is made somewhere else. So thanks for putting me in my place Sorry.
