on holidays fuel solenoid went . fine wired it up temporarily, next day lost tach and speedo, lost amperage . changed crank sensor this morning, truck has been running a while to charge' still nothing after short drive. any thoughts. thanks, ron

Any surging of the tach up and down or is it completely dead? If you had surging I would say it was in the sensor or it's positioning (which should have been fixed with the new sensor). Since the alternater is RPM/tach driven you may not get a charge until it is up. If both are completely dead I would say it is up higher electrically, sorry I'm not much help when it comes to that. Hope this kind of helps.

The plug infront of the #1 valve cover can also work loose (happened on mine) and can cause it to go dead or surge.
