Update... ... .
I installed a new ECM last week. When i first put it in truck ran awesome i thought it was fixed but then noticed that i was still only boosting to 36lbs this time. I got my bottom end and mid back for a little while. After two days of driving i'm back to square one. Can't boost past 32-34lbs, EGT's climb like an animal up to 1400, and just about every time i start the truck it runs differently. I started it this morning and could not get it to boost past 10 lbs. with my trailer hooked. Once i reached my shop unloaded tools re-started truck and took off boooom right to 32 lbs. WTF!!!
I noticed two very strange things which may help in finding this issue.
1) My tach needle at idle moves up and down from 600 to 650 to 750 back to 600, while the truck is idling but the actual idle is not moving it idles smoothly at 750 according to scanner.
2) When i load Smarty SW's and it gets to around 85% completion, the fuel pump starts pulsating and my pressure gauge bounces up and down from 7psi to 15 psi up until it is done loading the SW.
I loaded an SW on two other trucks and the fuel pump stays on and runs smoothly at the same rate throughout the entire down load. This issue may have started after i installed the AD i'm really not sure because i installed a lot of things lately within weeks apart of each other such as: Turbo, AD II, Power inverter 2000w wired to the baterry, MP8, i'm sure i'm missing something else but u get the point.
I have trace my wiring harness and check all connections. I think thats my next step.
It seems like whatever is causing this issue is burning out the ECM and i think it did it to the new one too. Hopefuly not maybe its just screwing with it and once i find the source the ECM will go back to normal, keeping my fingers crossed.....
