I just finished installing a Spicer rebuild kit for my LSD. I was experiencing clicking noises and some jerkyness. Anyway, all went well and I now have a lot more limited slip force than I have been used to. My question for those who have done this is "will the aggressive LSD action break-in and will I see a little less force from the new clutches?" It is most noticeable on dirt and gravel and when cold. I'm not sure if it's a bad thing just not what I'm used to. Thanx for any input.

I would run it for a bit to make sure it's broken in. Then if it's still tight, use the procedure below. I prefer them tight, but it's personal preference.

You can tune the limited slip adding small amounts of friction modifier,or limited slip additive. Add an ounce at a time, and do some tight figure eights in a parking lot, then road test it again. Do this until your happy with the results.

Mike, where did you get the Spicer rebuild kit at? Price? Like Bigramguy said, add the modifier an ounce at a time, too much will render your LSD useless.
