May Madness 2010! Anyone Going?

I know it's only January but anyone going this year? I already made my Nugget reservation last month. My wife and I had a great time the past two years and looking forward to take that drive from Sacramento to Pharump again this year and hope to see old and meet new friends this year.

I marked off that week for vacation after I saw the ad for it in the mag. I am planning on attending it. I have to fill out the application and I have to get reservations at the campground for the TT.



I missed the last 2 years, not planning on missing this year.

You can get it out of the last issue. Go to TDR Magizne, Digital Magiznes and select the last issue. It is on page 111. You can print from there. I just tried this and it works.



And we are going to try and make it this year. Missed last year due to family concerns, but so ar it looks like a go.

Got my reservation at the Nugget. This will be my first trip to Pahrump. Google figures it will take 23. 5 hours traveling from Kelowna BC to get there. Figured on going through Spokane, then down I15 through Salt Lake. Returning through Bakersfield, and then up I5. If anyone knows a better route, which wouldn't add too much to the time, I would like to know, as all of that territory is new to me.

My 2010 3500 SRW is supposed to ship tomorrow, so I should have it by the time I need to leave for this gig. Can't wait to meet some of the people I've been following in TDR for the last 3 years.

The way you say there through Spokanne is the way to go for fast time. . Going through Bakersfield will add 90 miles or so... as it is, it is 1452 miles from your town center to Pahrump, NV

I haven't made it since my first May Madness in 2006. That is when Jerry with the ghost flames from TDR convinced me to join.

I really hope to make it there this year.

First time going to this event. What all is included in the registration fee? Do you have to register to just be there and look around at venders row,drags or trk pulls etc? Don't need to go to banquet. More of an info trip for me,and to just look at all the great trk's. May pick a few items on venders row. Wife and I will be staying at campground in our 5th wheel. Thanks for any info you can give!
