i'm sure when joe bought his truck he had no plans to make it a 700+ pickup. he bought a stick truck to tow his camper. after he started to make some hp i'm sure he put it on a dyno to show his progress, and it went up from there. he still has a 5spd truck, so anyone with a 500hp truck could outrun him.

it's easy to forget that most people bought a truck becuase it's a truck not a race car. as jet pilot said the dyno is really the only way to measure actuall hp without traction and chassis setup differences.

Congrats on the big numbers Joe!

The west has finally seen close to 800hp on #2, and are making some power. Now, is there any doubt that the east has some 1000hp trucks? ;)

If Don~ could only post. :(

Jim,

I doubt anyone needs 700+ to tow a load that a pickup can handle.

Sometimes you just have to be able to pass people very quickly when going up mountains :D

To The East of me,, Couple Friends of mine just recieved a tweaked 5. 9, from a very reputable company, putting out 900-1,000HP,, He'll be racing it soon,, so we'll see what comes if that.

(This truck was running 700+HP before he decided it was too slow... . )

So where are the Fuller numbers at from MM????... ..... Andy

P. S. -Only got to wonder if he,Joe, will ever admit he's actually a vendor or when he sneaks east if he'll step up and say he's coming.

Come on guys.

Somebody has GOT to have some times.

We had people all over the country posting with nearly play by play during the dyno event. Now after an entire day later we don't have ANY racing times?

Was it THAT bad?

Another thing I haven't heard about was "your mom" 's truck. Did that truck make it to the event to at least dyno? Or is it stuck in some shade tree mechanic's garage getting tweaked still? I've been waiting nine months to see what that truck will do and it's still not ready????

So HVAC was somewhere in the 13's? ATS's duramax was in the 13's. Were there no 11 or 12 second passes?

I received nothing today in the way of updates--so I'm clueless--you'd think someone there has to have online capabilities to keep us unlucky ones up to date, but I guess not- -chris

Well if you guys would have been their you would know!!:D nowell only got to the low 13. 00, it would not hook. the race night was the best part. our 96 only managed to go 14. 02@100. 10

the 02 ran a 16. 12@83. 6. not bad with what little is done to them!

That's the other thing about racing don't get to see all the action. Clint I think had one of the fastest times. Most were from 17. 0 to 13. 0 I'll have to ask my son he saw more than me.

Nowell's truck ran a 12. 7's early in the morning the drags went to

3am, he turned the N02 on to burn some of the excess smoke.

I Ran a 13. 96 at 98. 14 best time ever not to bad for a 160 p pump

was this whole post pointed at me? if so here goes.

i was unable to go becuase my wife has been put on strict bedrest until my newest twins are born,:D she has been in and out of the hospitol for the last couple of weeks. i won't be going to muncie either as of now.

as far as me being a vendor i have never sold a part to anyone. my sponsors may have sold some parts becuase of me(atleast i hope they have), but i don't sell parts.

jim

Jim. .

I did not know your wife was bedridden, sorry to hear that. May she return to good health and your newest set of twins bring you as much happiness as a father can show. The vendor thing was NOT pointed at you and I'll apologize for that and will correct it. In my sleepy haste last nite I did not add Joe's name to that... ... . Andy

Muncie

Seems people are having trouble with the track in Vegas, anyone know if they prep the track at Muncie or do they just let it go!

Jim

if it's the same track as last year the vegas track was much better than muncie. i got 1. 80 60's in vegas vs 2. 1's in muncie. on the same tires at both places. the vegas track is a national track, muncie is just a local track. vegas is the nicest track i have ever been to.
