Hello new to posting hear, have owned my 2002 Dodge ram 3500 since dec. of 2001 when I picked it up new. Upgrades are a hot rod pump, FASS 95GpH lift pump, RV 275 injectors. I have recently installed a fuel pressure gauge (should' ve done that ten years ago) to help figure out if the recent issues with the vehicle where pressure related or something else. Pressure has been steady between around 15lbs and no lower than 10. Also has 4 inch MBRP exhaust, and a K@N replacement filter. The truck has 227000 miles on it. The engine was rebuilt @197000 miles(after tearing it up REAL BAD). The transmission has not been done, and though its still shifting ,going into lockup and fluid is at the right level and not burnt I believe it is finally time.
The most recent issue started with a mild bucking feeling between 65 and 75mph. Now it has begun to feel like I am applying brakes when I am on any grade. I read a bunch of posts, but didn't find any that fit whats going on with my truck exactly. Anything but a real worn out trans to look for?
