Since there's no "other" forum anymore, I'll post here.
It's a "gasser" question, but an automobile none the less:
Info. : On my 97 Jeep Wrangler (2. 5L 4cyl. ), I'm getting engine stumbling and then a drop to 0 (zero) oil pressure reading. It causes the "check gauges" warning light (and chime) to go off intermitently (every few seconds).
Q's: Is it the oil pump? Or, just a sending unit? Or, even a engine bearing maybe?
How do I test for the problem?
Since I get good pressure while driving (higher RPM's), I assumed the pump. Since it's mechanical and not electrical.
Any ideas?
Thanks
