Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

One more thing. . it will be in a field, so it's possible that it could get rained out... but if it's dry enough for me to cook a hog, I'm a gonna. All members and their family (spouse) is invited.

O. K. guys

This goes against everything I stand for, but... ... I've got a rifle to sell :{

Weatherby, . 300 Magnum, Mark V deluxe, 26" barrel, 3-9x Redfield scope.

Looks alot like this'un ..... If y'all know of anybody, gimme a holler. I'd rather not ship it if I can help it

Whooo hoooo! My posting priveledges have been restored!!! Man, I have been itchy.

My clutch is going to TX tomorrow... I don't suppose anyone is headed that way and willing to tote it are they?

Dang Paul! a . 300 win-mag? You been huntin' them elusive Tennessee Elephants? :) LOL. That sounds like a nice rifle. I hate to see you part with it. I've got a sig . 270 with a leupold 3-9x40 I'm on the fence about selling myself.

Awww yeah, I shoulda known that! It's shorter and fatter than a win-mag in the same caliber isn't it?

Good Elk gun. I got a friend that goes every couple of years to hunt them. I don't have the time, money, or desire much anymore to hunt outside of TN.

Heck, by the time you're 147 years old, there might be an Elk season in TN... Seen 'em in East TN, just no season for them yet.

andy,

glad your back. i am ready to get this truck together so we can play. i am having 12 valve withdraw :(

wade, would you like me to ship your gauges? pm me your address if you do.

p. s.

i am bombing a motorhome fri. the man wants 300hp. this is going to be fun.

thats all for now

joe

We need to tell ol Lanscape boy to line that 6. 0 chevrolet up! Love to see him get smoked! Mutual friend of joe's and mine has a 6. 0 chevrolet gas burner and swears he can beat joe's truck, cause can't no diesel out run it, he says.

I'll bring the video camera! 4wd launch with a few lbs of boost, just to scour him good. Not that Joe couldn't beat him from an idle in 2wd.

I know. I'm itchy... I shipped my DD off to TX this morning. Hopefully the guy will get mine on the road to Peter on Monday. Peter is going to convert it from an FE to an OFE. I know I wasn't real thrilled with him the first time I talked to him, but MAN he turned out to be a GREAT GUY. I have to publicly apologize for posting that I wasn't impressed.

To the Weatherby situation. I went on a hunt in Texas a few years ago with my German . 300 WBY, not the new Jap crap. To make a long story short, I took a record Axis buck on the second try. Lost the first stalk since the magazine popped open when I bumped it on a limb. The magazine release button was underneath not protected by the trigger guard as in the picture. Falling shells make alot of noise.

Good luck selling it. My father and I sold all of our Weatherbys (all German . 224-. 460) because of that incident.

As far as Elk. I'd go with the . 378 over the . 300 in a heartbeat. One shot one kill.

Okay, ship: 3389 John Bragg Hwy-Woodbury 37190.

I moved my gunsafe a few days ago. DAMMIT man that thing is heavy. And all my guns are in parts--cause I BOMB everthing. Have too many standard calibers. Wildcats from now on. . 375 Epstien or . 338-06, something like that on a Winchester/Mauser/WBY/Dakota/Kimber/Savage action with a Douglas BBL. Fancy walnut or fabuglass--or both.

Notice I didn't say Rem700. Call Remington sometime, they're total pricks on the phone. TWICE in my life. NEVER again, And I've got a bucket full of 'em. Details upon request. :-{}

I load all my own stuff too--not that I can remember where the press is. The companies involved in reloading are SUPER. Dillon/Midway/RCBS/ all the powder and bullet guys I've talked to. The whole industry is kinda like PETER at SOUTHBEND CLUTCH! :-laf

What was the subject? HO yeah--my post got lost. I said something about having a pull-off in the party field if it rains.

Cheryl got to drive the 98quad yesterday. She hadn't actually seen it. Now she LOVES it. Picture this. My petite little wifey sittin on 35's and whooping the NV4500 and SOOTING all tailgaters... . with her sexy shades on. :-laf :p

Nick,

The pump is on the truck. The connecting tubes and injectors are being EDM'ed to match the pump. The billet intermediate shaft and manual valve body are in route. After that a roll cage and enough guts to drive it. Don estimates over 900 hp with the twins I have and the pump can be turned up to support 1100 rwhp. I'm kinda giddy about it but I'll probably get over that when I get the crap scared out of me.

Meacham

Hell, that's OVERKILL, let Joe and Mark and Me and others embarrass him first. :-laf :-laf :-laf

i think gap can give him a good run for his money with that 65hp box. when i turn up his fl70 i think he will calm down on the hole diesel thing

Blew out a boot on the green one. It got so that I couldn't get 30# of boost, but had PLENTY of heat. Went to CCD, found the 2" gash--I think it had been leaking for a while, then ripped further--and replaced it with some PDR stuff.

OEM boot was 177,000 miles old--and "overboosted" for 36000 of those miles. And yes I have another one to put on for the other side. ;)

HEY Meacham, let somebody know when it's together and you start the "shakedown" runs. Oo.

Hey, this thing still works. Been lurking for a while. Been busy with a lot of changes. Downsizing and simplifying my life. If I don't use or need it, it's going (in order to get the truck paid for). So.....

Got a few things for sale: house, project car, furniture, couple handguns, TV, '02 alloys, Warn steps. If anybody is interested (or know of anybody in the market), let me know.

Truck has been sitting in the garage for the last couple of months. Last time I filled it up was 8/18 and it still has half a tank left.

Unfortunately, going to have to miss the fish fry. Got to run a load of stuff to Jackson. Hate to miss all that good fish and fixin's. Hans's's's's's family can cook up some awesome vittles.

Will catch up with you guys later... ... Jay

That's MY story, and I'm stickin to it! LOL

It really is. Just spent last weekend doing a yard sale instead of going to the pull at Covington :{ (then I hauled the leftovers to the Salvation Army); I'll be listing other stuff for sale soon. I'll be selling off the camper and ATVs and I hope a whole bunch of other stuff.

My son & grandkids coming here for a visit that will conflict with the fishfry. But I'll get out that way sooner or later!
