Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Skyjakcker also makes a D45 4. 5" spring too... $156 at Summit. Might wanna check with them, I'm sure that would stretch the control arms, track bar, etc. . too far outta whack. But it's worth looking into. I know I have seen 3rd gen's with D25's and 35's or 315's. No rubbing with the alum wheels, but the steel wheels will rub a lil.

Hey Ken As for the gauge install. Like Steve and Paul said. Just tell us where. There's plenty of experience to give advice and tips. I'd like to see another get together soon. I missed the last one, and it does apper that we are kinda dwindling off. I hate to see that happen, we're a good group. One tip I'll give you now is to call Piers and get their boost bolt for your boost gauge. It will simplify installation. Also make sure you've got a tapped banjo and new sealing washers from Cummins for the fuel press gauge (unless you're hooking up via the schrader valve... which I'm not sure if you have or not... I can't ever keep that straight :( ).

Hey Mark (or other stack guys)... What is the purpose of the box steel for a stack set-up? It would seem to me to be very in-efficient. They do look fantastic, and I see lots of people doing it... Just curious.

Anybody find Gap a new truck yet? Poor feller...

Hey Andy yeah those D45's wouldn't work :-laf Not without control arms, drop links for trac bar, pitman arm, etc. . I will find out tomorrow if they will fit, the tire shop I'm going to is a good personal friend so they agreed to test fit a 315 for me before installing them all. So, if the 315 doesn't fit they also have a set of 305's just lying around for me! ;) :-laf

On the stacks, I couldn't tell you who but somebody did the math a long time ago and it was either 3x5 tubing or 4x6 (which is what mine is) out flows a 4" round pipe. So it is actually more efficient, plus its a HECKUVA lot cheaper!!! That little piece cost me $30, and I got it a foot to long so it should have only been $25. I will have to have a new pair of stacks, but by the time its over with I will have $200 or less in this stack setup. BOTH of my other stack setups cost me $300-350. Plus they say the square tubing acts as a resinator somewhat, which I will love because I'm not gonna have my miter cuts very far above the cab.

Later y'all

Don't be strangers,

Mark

Interesting! in looking at the pictures, I have another question... How do they drain? With Mitre cut stacks, there's bound to be a bunch of water that gets in there. Also, where do you get all your parts for projects like this? My immediate need is for a 3. 5-4" reducer. . dunno where to find it.

Well homeboys. . Put out the word. There's an Blue 03 crew cab for sale. You know the one. If anyone is interested, or knows anyone that may be, gimmie a shout.

Also on your 3. 5"-4" adapter try Truck Pro on Foster Ave(?) I believe.

fuel pressure

Well I got the fuel pressure gauge installed (somewhat) and my pressure at idle is about 8-9 psi. At full throttle it drops to about 6. . How does this sound?

Ken

I just changed the filter a few weeks ago . I tapped in the top of the filter like the geno's instructions told me. This is on the clean side of the filter.

  I hope you've got another CTD in mind... . don't leave us hangin like this

Oh yeah, if I sell her, I'm definately going to look for her older sister! :D

This is a little personal, but I do owe an explanation. Plus you're all friends and familiy so... .

Being that we're a single income family with a 2nd little one on the way, "I" think it's best to sell it. My wife argues that I should just keep it. She has a good point, it'll be paid off in a few short years, low mileage, we've vigorously maintained it, etc. I thought I'd test the waters to see if there was any interest, how much, what I could get for it, etc...

One of the MT-TDR family has already expressed interest, so we'll see how it goes. Unless something goes horribly wrong in my life, I can't imagine not driving a CTD.

BTW, has anyone come up with a graphic for us? There has been some talk of it in the past. I'd really like to try and work up an order for some t-shirts. My bro-in-laws group (www.dixiecrawlers.com) just got their shirts back, and they look fantastic. I know Mark's other group just made some. I think it'd be awesome for us to have some as well. I'll take care of ordering, distributing, etc if we can get a logo and a slogan. Of course that is if there's any other interest than mine. Personally, I like dark blue shirts wth red logos and white lettering? Just my . 02. For reference, check out the SO CAL TDR's shirts - http://www.tdr1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85975&highlight=shirt

See ya guys,

with a 2nd little one on the way
Always the last to know... CONGRATULATIONS Oo. Your beers on me next time I see ya! I've thought about trading for a 2nd gen, but I'm TOO upside down in the deal with 47,000 miles. Graphics sound good to me if I don't have to draw it... I'm sure no one would want a stick-man on thier shirt :-laf

Thanks Paul! We're really excited about it.

Here's some proposed Logos... Of course, we could change the text to whatever we wanted them to. I'll foot the bill for the logo if we decide on one.

Anybody like any of those? I like 'em all. Course I did pick them, so it stands to reason that I would :-laf

On a nice heavy cotton colored t-shirt, a two color logo would be $5. 73/shirt. Thats for a minimum of 36 shirts. Add set-up and shipping costs, that puts the order at $249 or roughly $6. 95/shirt. Pretty good deal IMHO. We could appoint a treasurer, sell them for $10/each and use the proffit to fund food, drinks, etc at future events.

I hope I don't end up selling the old girl, but if I do, rest assured, I'll find the most rattley, smokey, leaky, obnoxios CTD I can get my hands on... . oh wait, that would be Red's truck!! :D Guess I'll have to settle for the 2nd most. :-laf
