Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Anybody but me going to defend the Cummins honor?

mebbe, i could be persuaded, i need to get on the stick with the kill switch, anybody got any how to info for a 12v?
got to get my hitch done and bal. shield, can see how to on those.

what are the breakable parts, and what power level do they break? (small shaft 6-spd, 12" clutch, and 241 dhd?)

will also need some coaching: How to launch? , what gear & range? (6 spd 4. 10's, 285/85-16 a/t style, worn, drw's, tire psi?. any safety gear required like helmet?

probly not for this weekend, but the nitrous thing sounds interesting, got an old mustang kit laying around, will have to do some learning how it works on a diesel. do you inject fuel like on a gasser?

still doing the wvo thing, problem is supply of wvo. companies are paying for it, and give dependable service, makes it difficult to beat their deal to be able to get it
man, i got a lotta irons in the fire, huh? holler back.

No personal safety gear required.

Nitrous--talk to Bean or Nick.

Kill switch on 12v. Take small wire on solenoid side of connector to shut-off solenoid. Run it through normally closed side of relay, run trigger voltage through breakaway switch on bumper. I've got the she-matic here. (From Nick) Haven't done it yet.

Harmonic Dampener guard. I'm planning to run heavy plate under front of engine and bolt a bar to it that will stick up in front of HD. Hain't got that done yet either.

May start on the stuff this evening.

I'd try low 3 or 4 in your truck, but then I don't have a lot of manual experience in front of the sled. There may be a high-range gear in between those two. Without a pulling clutch, I'd say rev it and dump it. With a dual-disc, there can be some slipping to build some boost at the start. Auto trannies make that part real easy-- Stand on brake, make X boost--let'r rip tater chip. :D

If we had some free time, Barry would probably let us work on and play with his sled.

I know we are a Cummins group, and hell a Cummins website. However, Crazy Cousin Dilbert would appreciate any help in finding him a new truck. ;)

01 or newer F250 PowerStroke 6spd 4x4 Crew Cab, Long Bed, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Rear Sliding Glass, Cloth Seats, dark color wanted not particularly fond white or red, silver would be an exception.

Any leads on possible trucks please call CCD (Crazy Cuz Dilbert) @ 615-347-5059 PLEASE! leave a msg. as he works 3rd shift!

I blew the doors off a six liter flatbed dually yesterday in my Honda. it had a standard size backhoe on a trailer crawling up germantown hill. I went by him so fast it was hard to tell, but it looked/sounded like he was going from 3rd to 2nd. Was puking smoke, turbo screaming and loosing speed quickly. Guy looked really p-o'd. Made me want one (with deep sarcasm). I guess they don't call him Crazy Cousin Dilbert for nothin'.

Uncle Andy, your killing me!!

Now we know why they call him Crazy! He should've figured it out by now where it's at... 6 in a line, smoke'm everytime!

24 - just right!

NO MOORETOWN PULL this time

The Chief ain't gonna let us run. "Not Promoted" is the basic answer. Things would be a lot easier if we ever get a MTPA class.

WE WILL PULL at Mooretown (Woodbury) in August. I'd like to make that a meeting.

AUGUST 12 PULL/Meeting at Woodbury. Who be in?

West Bound and Hammer Down

Hans,

Was coming home from Mississippi today and about half way between Memphis and Jackson I thought I saw you headed west bound and hammer down. Was it you ?

Anthony

Anthony - that probably would have been me! If the truck was fairly clean and had "Cummins Turbo Diesel" draped across the windshield then it's a sure thing. I was headed to Memphis to look at a small house to rent (which I ended up taking). Was it around 2:00?

OFF TOPIC

I know some of y'all have Horses, so I'm hoping you'll have an answer to this question:

My four year old little girl is turning five in August. She's wanting a "Horse Birthday Party". I'm not REAL sure what to do to make it happen. Do people bring one/two of them out for things like this? Do we search for a riding stable to host the party (is there such a thing)? If I found someone to bring one out, I guess I'd just do it at the house (not feeling like that's a great idea). We have an 88 acre farm, but no bathrooms, etc. Not to mention hay is growing and I don't want to mow/rake a bunch of it for a hour or two long party.

yada yada. . any ideas/suggestions are welcome.

thx guys.

Andy,

There's a fella in Greenbrier that has a "pony ride" that he does. It's one of those merry-go-round deals with ponies. They're good folks. I don't know what he charges. They brought it to our church for vacation bible school once. If your interested I'll find his number.

It was around 2-2:30. Something was across the windshield, but could not make it out. Also had a white CB antenna. Pretty sure it was you.

SSHOPE start right here in TDR classifeds, then go to Ebay, you can try Ramchargercentral.com,and Moparts.com, good luck, oh yeah Abernathy's on Trinity Ln in Nashville deals with truck parts.

Steve,

You can probably get that crack fixed. There's some process for fixing it, just can't remember. I'll do a little research here and see what's what and let ya know. Danged ol 53 blocks!! :(

Lock-N- Stitch, that's what I was trying to think of. Looks like the "best" fix is a new block. Few post saying the lock-n-stitch held, but new crack appears in another spot when towed heavy again. Check out the post above.

And here's another...
