Dynatrac has two versions, both knurled and smooth body? I wonder if the two have the same diameter?

You will have to call DynaTrac and get the info on the differences. McQuay Norris has the same type of BJ's but their's are intended for installation ease not a problem solver like some. They are grooved not splined and should be about the same size as the smooth ones. The grooves are to add instalation straight into the bores becasue the way they sit in the axle C's it is easy to get them out aligment on install.

Thank you my fellow members for your response and advice, your comments have greatly influenced my decision on parts. I ordered Dyanatrac ball joints (not knurled), Dana front axle u-joints and BD sway bar links.

I also decided to replace the cooling and heater hoses using marine hose clamps, water pump, vibration damper and drive belt. Any suggestions on antifreeze?

I have not decided on what brand tie rod ends yet, any suggestions?

I shall also change the fluid in the differentials, anybody know how much lubricant they take and what is the best fluid, I have a limited slip rear differential.

Thanks

If you flush the system you can use whatever you like. I've stuck with the HOAT type coolant. Zerex GO5 is available at most part stores and has served me well. The cost has come down over the years so it's not as big an issue as it used to be.

If your Hoses are fine - leave them alone.
You wont get this quality rubber in the Aftermarket, even the OEMs are no more this good.
