Concern with B&W turnoverball

Just bought our first trailer, it's used and came with a Valley 2way pivioting hitch. Any sugestions on installing the rails? I'm nervous about drilling a bunch of holes in my baby you know. Thanks!

Hitch

Know what you mean about drilling a bunch of holes in a new truck. I had to put my hitch in tha next day after I picked up the truck. You can go to a RV dealer and get a set of instructions or call the hitch company and they will fax you a set which is what I did. Sure makes it a lot earier. bg

If I had to do it over, I would seriously consider buying a Pullrite SuperGlide hitch. You only have to put four holes in the bed, but no other visible hardware. If you do it right, you could have four hole covers for those four holes.

They are costly, but so is everything else!

I like the way B+W hitches mount. I believe they use pre-existing holes in the frame, but you do need to put a 4 inch hole thru the floor of your box. Don't have their web address, think its under B+W custom truck beds. They have some good pics on their site.

Hey,

I have a Reese 15K 5th hitch, yes it was a painful thing to see those 4 bolt holes in the bed. :{ What trailer did you buy anyway? Is there a 30A hookup on that new shed?:p Maybe another visit is in order. :D
